Casey’s racing for the month of August is complete! He raced at the Dirt Series round 7 at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park last weekend. It was a full and extremely hot day with 4 motos to race, as he competed in both the UTV RZR 170 Open class and the UTV Open 200 class. This round was very important as it counted for double points.
It was a great day for Casey as he drove his cars flawlessly through the main track at Lake Elsinore! He started his day in the UTV Open 200 class. In both motos, Casey took the hole shot and never looked back, even passing cars not in his class that started before him. He finished 1st in both motos, bringing home an overall 1st for the day!
Casey also raced in the UTV RZR 170 Open class. Again, Casey drove amazingly! He took the hole shot in the first moto and gradually increased his lead throughout the race. He also completed the fastest lap and finished 1st! In the second moto, Casey was second off of the line, but was able to pass the leader early on in the race. He maintained his lead and finished the race in 1st place, taking the overall 1st place spot for the day!
Casey will be racing at the Dirt Series round 8 on September 11th at Pala Raceway and at WORCS round 9 on September 17th – 18th at Glen Helen Raceway. I will keep you posted on his progress and results.
