Jeremie Warnia made his first competitive outing with the Yamaha SSV YXZ 1000R last weekend in the second round of France Championship Rally All Terrain Saint Pée (64).
Jeremie Warnia and co-driver Aurélie Potisek made their mark on the soaked Basque lands at Saint Pée. Winning the day and points in the standings lead with 38 seconds ahead.
Jeremie Warnia: “I found a great discipline with a good atmosphere and a great welcome. On Saturday the rain made it very slippery and tricky. Sunday was very fast and brittle with passages in scree. A big thank you to John Link and Yamaha France for their support and assistance in the development of the machine. “
Sunday had drier conditions. The crew won the opening stage in two stages, after a great performance in the special 9 and 10 enable them to pass their pursuers to win SSV category and finished 13th in the scratch with the Rally cars.
