Anza, California – After a rough round seven, Can-Am Motoworks’ Chad Wienen came back in round eight to take the first ever DWT World ATV Motocross Pro Championship despite a tough season long battle with Baldwin Motorsports’ Josh Upperman.
Much to the relief of ATV racers in attendance, the rain that was so prominent in round seven stopped and the sun began to peak out from behind the clouds. Although still on the chilly side with temps only in the 40’s, the track dried out nicely and was looking promising for Sunday’s races.
Sunday’s events would also be a little more exciting in the pro class as MCR/Maxxis team racers Mike Cafro and current WORCS Pro ATV Champ Beau Baron would also be competing.
